Y'know that feeling once you're done putting makeup on like, "I'm ready to face the world!". 😎 So satisfying, right girls? But hey, have you ever dreamt of waking up in the morning already looking fresh and effortlessly pretty? Ugh, I've always wanted that! 🤤

 

Having a clear skin without any blemishes to hide sounds wonderful. Especially on our lazy days, isn't it? Imagine how much time you can save when you can skip those lengthy makeup sessions. 🤣 Well, do you know that it's actually achievable and there's no secrets to it! 1. Moisturize your skin

Moisturizer is the next important step in skincare routine after cleanser (pfft, we all know cleanser is a must). But if there's any of you who are still questioning the need to wear moisturizer, it's time to stop doubting. Moisturizer is super essential to keep your skin hydrated no matter your skin type. 💦 Just like any other skincare products, the key is to find the right moisturizer for your skin type. Gel type for oily skin, thicker texture for dry skin and a lightweight formula for those with dry skin. Of course, there will be countless stages of trial and error until you can finally find the perfect moisturizer for your skin. But don't give up, girlfriends! It's for the sake of your skin 😘

 

2. Never forget your sunblock

I knowww there are still some of you who think that sunblock is just an add-on to the skincare routine. But girl, trust me, it's a must! You have no idea what direct exposure to sunlight can do to your skin. It can cause sunburn, premature aging, and worse, skin cancer. 😱 Nope, i'm not exaggerating. That's why wearing sunblock is super duper important! Especially in Malaysia weather that's typically warm throughout the year, imagine how the sun can easily cause your skin damages. 😫

 

3. Exfoliate regularly

Exfoliating helps to thoroughly clear the dirt on our skin that cleansers can't. It's the secret to having a smooth supple skin free from acne, flakiness, tiny bumps and many other skin concerns. 👍 But a lot of people has been exfoliating their face the improper way and that can be damaging to the skin. ⚠ So be careful about that! It's better to avoid using harsh facial scrubs because it can irritate the skin. AHA and BHA exfoliants are good to unclog the pores and remove dead skin cells. But remember not to over-exfoliate our delicate skin. A maximum of 2-3 times a week should suffice.

 

4. Wear tinted lip balm

Never forget your lips while taking care of the other parts of the face. 👄 Always put on a lip balm especially if you're a fan of matte lipstick because it can be drying especially if you're wearing it all day long. And if you're too lazy to go out wearing makeup, a tinted lip balm can be a good substitute. It's moisturizing and at the same time it gives a natural sheer to your lips. 💋

 

5. Last but not least, watch your eating habit

Well, after all, you are what you eat. Only taking care of the skin externally won't do the magic. You have to watch your food intake. ☝ Whatever you feel like having, always keep in mind to be moderate! It's okay to satisfy your sugar craving every once in a while. 🍩 But regular intake is not only bad for your skin, it's also harmful for your health.
